Experience
Dan Alvarez has been providing multi-line claim investigations since 1982 with his start at J.C. Penney Insurance Company; as the company's very first Multi-line SIU Investigator on the West Coast. With that experience Dan went on to become the SIU Director for Transamerica Insurance Company in 1987. After starting SIU operations in 14 cities across America, Dan formed Alvarez & Associates based in Southern California. Since 1989 Dan and his staff of experienced claim and Title IX investigators have been providing workplace and multi-line claim investigations for various JPA’s, TPA’s, K12 school districts, small businesses, and retail corporations.
In 2021 Dan was the recipient of the “2021 Investigator of the Year” award presented by the California Association of Licensed Investigators. The award was as a result of a 1.2 million dollar embezzlement investigation conducted for a private corporation. The award also reflected Dan's development, contribution and use by K-12 school districts in California of his COVID-19 “Pathways” Return to Campus Navigation Systems.
